Prepare the records requested by the current official process, but share them only through an authorised channel. Requirements can differ for a new application, correction, appeal or payment grievance.
Preparation checklist
- Aadhaar card for identity/e-KYC when officially requested
- Family or ration card details
- Bank passbook or account details in the applicant’s name
- Mobile number linked where the official process requires it
- Any address, income, land or supporting record requested during verification
What to check on each record
| Record | Check before submission |
|---|---|
| Aadhaar or accepted identity record | Name, initials, date of birth and mobile/e-KYC requirement on the official form. |
| Family or ration card | Family members, head-of-family entry, address and card status. |
| Bank passbook/account evidence | Beneficiary name, account number, branch and IFSC; confirm the account is active. |
| Mobile number | Use a number you control and can access for official messages or OTPs. |
| Income, land or supporting proof | Use the record and period named by the current government instruction. |
| Acknowledgement | Application/petition number, date, centre or portal, and any next-action message. |
Prevent avoidable mismatches
Small differences can matter when records are matched electronically. Compare spelling, initials, age or date of birth, address, family relationships and bank-account holder. Do not edit an image to make two records appear consistent. Correct the authoritative record through its lawful process.
Safe copying and uploading
- Use a clear copy that shows all required fields without adding unrelated documents.
- Do not write an OTP, PIN, CVV or internet-banking password on any form.
- If self-attestation is requested, add it only as instructed.
- On a shared phone or computer, delete downloaded scans after a successful submission and sign out.
- Keep your acknowledgement in a separate safe location.
- Do not post a rejection screen or passbook page publicly; it may expose identifiers.
If a document is unavailable
Ask the authorised service which alternative is accepted and which department can issue or correct the missing record. An affidavit, self-declaration or substitute document is valid only when the current process permits it. A private operator should not invent an alternative.
Our contact form is for editorial questions and corrections. It deliberately does not request Aadhaar, ration-card, bank, OTP or application details.
Document questions
Are all documents on this list mandatory for everyone?
Not necessarily. The authorised form or officer decides what is required for a particular route or correction. This list is for preparation.
Should I upload documents to this website?
No. We do not accept identity, family-card, bank or application documents.
What if my name is different across records?
Do not hide the mismatch. Ask the responsible department which source record should be corrected and retain the correction acknowledgement.
Can I send an Aadhaar copy over WhatsApp?
Only use a channel explicitly identified by the competent government authority. Do not send it to a private agent, unknown number or this website.
Documents ready? Confirm the route
A correct document pack still needs a current, authorised application or correction channel.
