This policy explains how we decide what to publish, which sources carry the most weight, and how we keep changing scheme information understandable.
Source hierarchy
- Primary official material: Tamil Nadu Government orders, department notices, official KMUT portal instructions and authorised public documents.
- Direct institutional information: official district or service-centre instructions that clearly identify authority and date.
- Reliable reporting: used for context or to locate a primary source, not to silently replace an operative government instruction.
- Social posts and videos: treated as leads unless they reproduce a verifiable official notice accurately.
How a guide is written
We begin with the user’s question and answer it directly. We then explain conditions, exceptions, evidence, privacy risks and the next official step. We avoid adding the same keyword to every heading, manufacturing urgency or promising a result that only the government can decide.
Rules, announcements and claims
An announcement describes an intention. An operational notice explains what people can do and when. A political promise may never become a scheme order. Articles and evergreen pages label these states separately so readers do not mistake a headline for an open application window.
Dates and updates
- Updates use exact calendar dates instead of “today” or “soon”.
- Core pages display a content-review date and modified date.
- Date-sensitive settings are maintained centrally to avoid contradictory amounts or links.
- Major changes trigger a review of eligibility, application, status, documents, FAQ and homepage copy.
- An older update remains dated historical context; it is not silently made to look new.
Human review and AI assistance
Technology may assist with outlining, transcription, translation checks or quality control, but it cannot establish a scheme fact by itself. A human editor is responsible for source selection, claims, links, dates and publication. We do not publish bulk pages that merely rearrange search terms.
Conflicts and commercial influence
Advertising or affiliate relationships, if any are introduced, will be disclosed and separated visually from editorial content. No advertiser can purchase an eligibility conclusion, preferred government link or favourable complaint advice.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected promptly after verification. The process is described in our corrections policy. Send the page URL and a supporting source without private beneficiary information.
