Small mismatches in your name, bank account or Aadhaar can hold up an application or a payment. The fix is usually to correct the original record, not just the application.
Fixing common problems
- Name or date-of-birth mismatch — correct it on the document that is wrong (family card, Aadhaar or voter ID) so they agree with each other.
- Bank account not receiving the payment — ask your bank to seed your Aadhaar for DBT and update the NPCI mapper.
- Wrong bank account on the application — provide the correct, active account details through the official channel.
- Family card details wrong — update the family card through the civil supplies / ration card process.
Because different documents are handled by different offices, a correction may involve your bank, the Aadhaar (UIDAI) service, or the ration card office. Fix the record at its source, then follow up on the scheme portal.
After correcting your records, check your status again, and if your application was rejected over a detail that is now fixed, use the appeal option described in the rejection guide.
This page is an independent explainer to help you understand the scheme. It is not the government and cannot process your application. Rules, amounts and dates can change, so always confirm the current details on the official portal at kmut.tn.gov.in or at your local ration shop or e-sevai centre before you act.
